Draft — this page is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It is provided for transparency while we finalize our legal documentation.
We collect: name and email address when you submit our Contact form; email and password if/when account sign-up goes live (passwords stored hashed, never in plain text); basic technical data like IP address and browser type via standard web server logs. We use this to respond to inquiries, operate your account, and improve the Service. We don't sell this data. We don't currently collect billing/payment information or accept file uploads — this policy will be updated if that changes.
As part of the Service, Savanna Digital collects and analyzes publicly available content (e.g. public social media posts, news articles, forum posts) that may include personal data about individuals who are not our customers — the people being monitored on behalf of our customers. We only collect data that is already publicly accessible, and we use it solely to provide monitoring, sentiment analysis, and reporting to the customer who configured that search. We do not use this data to build independent profiles of individuals for any other purpose. If you are an individual who believes your public content has been included in a customer's monitoring results and want to raise a concern, contact us at info@savannadigitallab.com.
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.
Not currently applicable — to be confirmed if we serve customers outside Kenya/Africa.
The Service is not directed at children under 18.
We'll post updates here with a revised date.
